Rooted in tight harmonies and strong original songwriting, My Dog Jack has become one of San Francisco's hottest new Americana bands and has built solid momentum throughout the US West Coast —they've become trusted openers for national Folk/Americana acts, including The Brothers Comatose, AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Esther Rose, and Never Come Down — earning a reputation as one punchiest live acts on the West Coast Americana circuit. National touring artist and Santa Cruz legend Joe Kaplow’s music is unique yet familiar, like a craftsman home. The foundation is set with a stand-alone song, blending folk tradition with modern indie sensibility. The walls and roof are raised with interesting musical choices and an unmistakable sound which creates a comfortable space inside for Joe and his bandmates to finish with the synergy and idiosyncrasy.
