Sip & Listen with Survivor Olga Spiegel

For one afternoon, a neighborhood cafe becomes a space of memory. Sip & Listen is a first-of-its-kind pop-up series turning New York City coffee shops into intimate spaces of Holocaust remembrance, timed to coincide with Yom HaShoah, the Jewish day of Holocaust remembrance. Join us for a rare, personal conversation with Holocaust survivor Olga Spiegel, in the heart of the Upper East Side. For a moment in the middle of the day, we pause to listen to a story that must be heard. New York City is home to approximately 15,000 Holocaust survivors, the largest survivor population in the world. As their voices become fewer, pop-ups like this one matter more than ever. Spots are limited. Please RSVP to reserve your place. Hosted by: Yad Vashem USA Foundation supports Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem, advancing Holocaust education, research, and remembrance. The Foundation helps preserve survivor testimony, document the history of the six million Jews murdered, and combat rising antisemitism and Holocaust distortion. The Blue Card Fund supports elderly Holocaust survivors across America who struggle to meet basic needs. Founded in 1934 in Nazi Germany and re-established in the U.S. in 1939, the nonprofit provides direct financial, medical, and emotional assistance, helping survivors afford rent, food, and essential healthcare.
