Greenpoint Art Circle is excited to present its annual member group show, featuring 23 artists based in and around North Brooklyn. This exhibition highlights the scope of talent and diverse styles within our group. The works selected, which include drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, photography, ceramic, mixed media, and sculptural pieces, are all at intimate scales to invite close looking. Each individual work presents an artist's visual voice, and the conversations and harmonies that arise between works echo the serendipitous creative connections that our community fosters. Come celebrate with us during the opening reception (on the first day of spring!) with live music by Charlie the Dog and Wheel & Frame. Check our Instagram for more events to be held during the run of the show, starting with an artist walkthrough on Monday, March 23, 6-7pm. – Greenpoint Art Circle is a community of visual artists in and around North Brooklyn who are interested in growing their creative practices and developing relationships within the NYC art world. Our events — drawing together, critique nights, goal-setting and resource-sharing sessions, and more! — are free and open to the public, to reduce barriers to participation and foster new connections.
