FROM PORTRAIT TO PROCESS WITH YANA MAZURKEVICH 🎞️ Film Portrait Session + In-House Color Film Developing Lesson ✨A LITTLE ABOUT YANA: With over a decade of experience behind the lens, Yana began her photography journey in photojournalism while pursuing a BS in Photography at Ithaca College. Her creative path has since expanded across a wide spectrum of photographic styles and mediums, but it’s through film that her vision has found its most powerful expression. As an artist who develops and scans her own negatives, she is intimately involved in every step — from the click of the shutter to the final scanned frame. This hands-on, analog workflow invites slowness and deep attention, encouraging her to approach each image with a meticulous care. Film is not just a tool, but a practice in intention — one that invites patience, rewards presence, and transforms ordinary moments into lasting, tactile memories. When Yana isn’t slinging slings as your friendly neighborhood Gear Expert right here at PDLA, she’s frolicking in nature with her beloved pooch, Peach, summiting peaks, and backpacking National Parks across the country. 🫶WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS EVENT: Get ready for a fun, hands-on experience!
