🎨 This is a special Movement and Messy Art Workshop for 1-5 year olds + their caretaker! You and your child will be immersed in Spring Equinox process art: fresh flower tower, vase make + take, scented flour play-dough.
I provide activities and guidance, and you connect deeper with your kid through art. At least one caretaker is to join each child, so be sure all are dressed for a mess! ❤️
Hi!! 🥰 I'm Mindy and I'm so happy you've found me!! I'm an early childhood educator (Master in the Art of Teaching, specializing in inclusive early childhood) bringing process over product movement and art classes to Portland. This is a welcoming space for little ones and their caregivers to move freely to music, get messy with various art supplies, and connect together as a community. This workshop supports exploring self expression, gross and fine motor development, and expanding creativity.
🖌 This is truly a process over product class—meaning we’ll focus on exploration, not perfect outcomes. From sitting or jumping to the music, to using a tool or hands (or feet?!) to paint, all children are encouraged to engage however feels right to them!
