The evening features an intimate fireside chat with the acclaimed trumpeter, followed by an hour long LIVE jazz performance showcasing his signature sound. Blending narrative and improvisation, this event honors the legacy of jazz while exploring its enduring influence on culture and creativity. Wayne Tucker is a Grammy-nominated trumpeter, composer, and bandleader based in New York City. He has released five albums and performed with artists across genres including Kurt Elling, Taylor Swift, Ne-Yo, and Elvis Costello. Tucker also teaches jazz at SUNY Purchase, his alma mater, and leads his band The Bad Mothas in regular performances throughout the city. Moderator | Writer, Hank Shteamer
