Blending narrative and improvisation, this event honors the legacy of jazz while exploring its enduring influence on culture and creativity.
Wayne Tucker is a Grammy-nominated trumpeter, composer, and bandleader based in New York City. He has released five albums and performed with artists across genres including Kurt Elling, Taylor Swift, Ne-Yo, and Elvis Costello. Tucker also teaches jazz at SUNY Purchase, his alma mater, and leads his band The Bad Mothas in regular performances throughout the city.
