˘▿˘We’re heading to Brookside Gardens on September 16 for an evening of gardens, lawn lounging, and an Electric Light Orchestra + Traveling Wilburys tribute band. Perfect for our Maryland girls!
Meet at 5:30 PM to wander the gardens together, then we’ll head to the concert lawn around 6 PM.
Concert: Atomic Light Orchestra & ELO & Traveling Wilburys tribute
Food will be available for purchase from:
The Crepe Shoppe: sweet & savory crepes, including vegetarian options
Money Muscle BBQ: BBQ sandwiches & sides, including vegetarian options
Ben & Jerry’s: ice cream
Location: Visitor Center Lawn by the Bluestone Terrace
Bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket for seating. No hammocks, tables, beach umbrellas, or pop-up tents. Picnics ARE allowed to so please bring something to share with the group if you are able!
Parking is available at 1800 Glenallan Ave (Main Entrance) or 1500 Glenallan Ave (Conservatory Entrance). No parking along Glenallan Ave. Be warned, parking fills up quickly, but you may be able to find a spot in the nearby neighborhoods once it's filled.
Restrooms are available inside the Visitor Center from 5:30–8:30 PM.
Come wander the gardens, eat some food, and pretend we’re the main characters in an ELO music video. We will bring some blankets, but this is all about sharing space and hopefully snacks.
