ᵔ◡ᵔBecause sometimes moms need mountain summit time!
Join us for a trail run/hike on Mt. Rose pass starting at the Ophir Creek trailhead. Come for the fresh air, lake views, summit fun, and leave with new trail friends.
We’ll meet at 8:15am and get moving at 8:30 am. We will divide into groups for different length expeditions. The longer route will be 9 miles, up to Rose Knob shoulder, north along the ridge to Relay Peak, and back along the side of Tamarack. The shorter route is 4.5 miles, out-and-back to Rose Knob. Hike/runs will wrap up by 10:30 -11am.
Bring gear you need for fast hiking/running. There will be treats and snacks at the end.
COMMENT if you're interested in the "short" (4.5 miles + 1000 ft elevation gain) or "longer" (9 miles + >1000 ft elevation gain) route!
This gathering is for mamas only, so leave the little ones at home and enjoy some well-earned you time.
