Queer B*tches Go Hiking is a casual group hiking series for LGBTQ+ folks looking to connect with others in a relaxed, nature-filled setting. We’re here to build friendships, take up space outside, and enjoy the trail at our own pace! No hiking experience or equipment is required. - - - - - - - - - - - HIKE DETAILS: 🗓️ Sunday, August 10th ⏰ 2-4:30 pm 📍Ice Age Trail - Monches/Loew Lake Segment · Hartland, WI 53029 Hike Difficulty Level - Medium - A lot of up and down elevation - We will be walking on some twisting dirt paths with uneven footing for about 2 hours. - There is no rush when hiking. We will go at pace so everyone can stay together as a group. WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: * Meet in the parking lot of Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish - Monches/Loew Lake * Group will be leaving the trailhead no later than 2:15 pm * We will return to the trailhead as a group at the end of the hike. * Bring a lot of electrolyte water and energy snacks in a back pack. * There are no public bathrooms in the trail. So try to plan accordingly. We will stop after walking for an hour and find a good hidden place to “pop a squat” in the woods. * RSVP to get text updates and notifications from the organizer * If you need a ride or can give a ride.
