Dance Unbound doesn't belong in a conference room — and we're not pretending otherwise. While Tech Week fills rooms with panels and PowerPoints, we're clearing the floor. This is a drop-in event where the only thing you have to do is move. Pick a dance clip from our platform — contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, or Chinese dance — learn it on the spot, film yourself, and let our AI scoring engine evaluate your technique, form, and rhythm in real time. A live leaderboard tracks the top performers, and the top five walk away with prizes. Everyone else walks away with something rarer: their first real dance moment. Not feeling competitive? Our community dance and dance therapy sessions run alongside — dance as connection, not performance. No experience, no judgment, no dress code. Our guest speaker is Chun Wai Chan, principal dancer at New York City Ballet and former principal at Houston Ballet — one of the most celebrated dancers working today. Chun Wai will speak candidly about his path. It's a conversation about identity and persistence — relevant far beyond dance. What makes it special? Most Tech Week events ask you to sit and absorb.
