Save Our Nature: Free Event!
We are bringing the community together on the day after Halloween for art, nature, and environmental action!
Our streets usually get trashed the day after Halloween so we thought this would be a great way to do something FOR the community WITH the community!!
Briona (@beautybybrionasalon) is a certified naturalist and will lead a hands-on, nature-inspired art activity!
Briona regularly hosts environmental events including nature walks & art journaling!
Sam (@accessibleartstudio / @ecopress916) will guide a community trash collection, turning #2 HDPE plastic into future artwork!
Sam will have examples of recycled art from plastic waste & go over plastic waste facts/tips, while also giving you information about places you can send plastic waste to be recycled!
Join us as we celebrate creativity, sustainability, and caring for our environment here in Sacramento.
