On February 14, 2006, the Lee Center first opened its doors with a production of Tartuffe, directed by Ki Gottberg and designed by Carol Wolfe Clay. Over the past twenty years, the theatre has been home to countless productions, hundreds of artists honing their craft, and thousands of theatre lovers gathering to experience the power of live performance. How fitting, then, that Ki and Carol are returning as part of the creative team for our 20th anniversary production of Shakespeare’s The Tempest, with Ki directing and Carol designing. Professional actors, Reggie Jackson and Allison Rene, join the cast of students on the Lee stage. We hope you will join us for the closing matinee of The Tempest on Sunday, March 1, at 2:30 pm, followed by a festive celebration in the Lee Center honoring both the production and the remarkable legacy of this extraordinary theatre. Please note that tickets for the matinee performance must be purchased at the link above and your RSVP on this invite will save your spot for the party!
