Brooklyn Book Bodega Fundraiser | DJs Teff, Denise Renée, C. Hub

Books on the table, bass in the room. Join us Sunday, May 24th for a warm night in the Foyer. Music up, drinks flowing, kitchen open. An evening for a good cause, with the Brooklyn Book Bodega at the center, supporting literacy across NYC. Bring a new or gently used book for entry we’re collecting for kids ages 0–18. The Brooklyn Book Bodega is on a mission to make sure every kid in NYC grows up in a home filled with books; 100+ strong. Even in a city with so much access, some neighborhoods are still considered book deserts, with limited books to buy or borrow. This night is about showing up for that, together. From 6–11PM, Teff takes over the Foyer, bringing the community into the room and raising funds for literacy programs that directly support kids across the city. Teff is a Brooklyn based - Atlanta born DJ, producer, and artist who never leaves a dance floor untouched, blending Atlanta’s signature bass-heavy heat with a wild mix of soulful house, techno, hyperpop, and a touch of 90s house nostalgia. His sets are more than just tracks; they're immersive, concept-driven experiences that feel like curated sound exhibits. Don’t be fooled by his tagline, “IT’S TEFFORTLESS BABE” every beat, blend, and bassline is meticulously crafted and impossible to duplicate. Denise Renée, a Haitian / African American Brooklyn based DJ, is an open-format artist whose sets bridge cultures and genres. Known for her seamless mixes of Alternative rap, hip-hop, ghetto-tech, Dance, Club music from NY, Baltimore, Chicago & Detroit. She creates soundscapes that celebrate diversity and bring communities together. C.hub is an nyc based-Nigerian born and raised trans woman. Her sound involves a mix of different genres; techno, dnb, breakbeat, afrotek, footwork, juke, electro, tribal club and polyrhythmic beats. Her mixes are intended to take the listener on a journey, weaving dance music from across the diaspora. Her prowess behind the decks along with her unique taste give her the tools to achieve this. A C.hub set ensures a treat for her listeners. Free w/ RSVP or with a Book for Entry | 21+ Accepting Donations at the Door 100% of proceeds go directly to The Brooklyn Book Bodega
