🥐 COOKBOOK CLUB EPISODE 11: PASTRY PICNIC! 🧺
For our 11th cookbook club gathering, we’re piggybacking on the "apartment café" trend and hosting our very first Pastry Picnic.
You’ll become a "vendor" at our pop-up Manhattan Cookbook Club Café by preparing a breakfast pastry or morning treat to share. At the event, we’ll “shop” each other’s creations, choosing goodies to enjoy for breakfast and to pack in to-go bags, just like you would at your favorite local café.
🥐 WHAT TO BRING:
- At least a dozen (12) FULL SIZE breakfast pastries or items to share (feel free to create a “sample” platter of bite size pieces for people to try before they commit to grabbing the whole pastry to take home!)
- Your favorite morning beverage (coffee, matcha, juice — your call!)
- A picnic blanket or towel to sit on
- Sunscreen and sunglasses!
- *Optional: A reusable tote or container to take goodies home — we’ll also provide paper bags!
*Labels for your dish and any food allergens will be provided. Please be mindful of any temperature/serving needs for your item!
📍 LOCATION:
We’ll be on the North end of the Great Lawn in Central Park. You can enter at the northeast side of the park. We’ll drop a location pin about 30 minutes before the start time to guide you to the exact spot!
⏰ IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please arrive on time at 11:00 AM! We can’t start the exchange until most have arrived, so if you know you’ll be late or can’t make it right at 11, please let me know in advance!
