Vulvic Research: Drawing Salon
Hello vulva carriers, you are invited to take part in an expressive art experiment that comes into being through the art and research of Our Anatomy- a project studying human sexuality and planetary anatomy- creating artistic, animistic maps and spaces of dialog and experimentation to explore the question What are our bodies and what are they for?

At the Drawing Salon we will draw from our vulvas. Jote and Isabella will invite you into a somatic art process from the felt sense- from texture, memory, gravity, from ancestry, bone, impulse and breath, from the organicity of shared intent.
We will invite you to see and explore your own vulva by looking in the mirror, sensing or feeling yourself and transmitting your experience into mark making on paper. We will also go into a space of drawing inspiration from one another's bodies. Those who wish are welcomed to offer their vulvas to be seen and those who wish to draw are welcomed to draw.
Nudity is welcome and not required.
This gathering is not a sexual space.
Jote will make a pot of soup to share for those who wish to stay for a spell after the gathering ends.
We have some immunocompromised folks planning to attend so please stay home and rest if you are feeling something creeping around your zone. Thanks!
