Mini Debates at Oak Hill Social

strong opinions. low stakes. questionable arguments.
LET’S FIGHT is an afternoon of mini debates about things that absolutely do not matter enough to argue about — which is exactly why we’re going to.
window seat vs. aisle seat. does pineapple belong on pizza? is a hot dog a sandwich? we’ll release most of the topics ahead of time so you can find a hill (or a few) you’re willing to die on.
debates are mostly 1v1 (with the occasional three-way showdown). pick a topic + a side you actually want to argue, grab the mic, and make your case. we’ll keep rotating through people all afternoon, so you can debate once, come back for another round, or just grab a drink and watch other people fight about it.
no debate experience necessary. genuinely. this is not that serious.
🏆 there will be prizes for particularly convincing arguments, crowd favorites + other feats of completely unnecessary debate prowess.
🍻 Oak Hill Social will have food + drink deals throughout the afternoon, and everything is happening indoors because we are not debating whether it’s too hot outside. it is.

One Hell of a Yard Sale

I moved around a lot the last couple years and I have too much stuff for living in a studio. My loss is your gain! I threw legendary stoop sales in Brooklyn and I’m excited to now set up shop on my Austin yard…
Come by for indie label clothing (mostly womens, assorted sizing small-medium-large), cute hair accessories, fun new and vintage jewelry, a confusing number of scarves, shoes (women’s, size 39-40), housewares like ashtrays, kitchen items, and textiles, and a few high end designer pieces.
Pieces are clean and well cared for, so be aware prices are moderate! Haggling is welcome, just be cool and kind ✌🏻
