Saudade over Coffee: Sharing a Brazilian Ritual ☕️🍰
"Saudade" is a Brazilian word that describes the presence of an absence—a deep nostalgia for a place, a person, or a flavor.
Step into my plant-filled home in Crown Heights for an intimate afternoon centered around the soulful ritual of a Brazilian Café da Tarde. After sharing my baking journey online for so long, I’m finally opening my doors for an exclusive experience you won't find in any restaurant.
✨ The Experience
The Table: The heart of the afternoon. Enjoy a traditional, all-you-can-eat Café da Tarde. Each session, I’ll choose two signature cakes from my Brazilian repertoire (like Fubá, Cenoura, Passionfruit, Banana) served alongside warm Pão de Leite, salted butter, and fresh-poured coffee.
The Souvenir: Every guest leaves with a unique photography postcard from my archives, featuring a handwritten cake recipe on the back. Plus, pick a rooted plant cutting in water from my personal collection to grow at home.
Professional Portraits: As a photographer, I’ll capture high-res portraits of you enjoying the afternoon in my sun-drenched space. You’ll receive a digital link to your photos after the event!
The Saudade Shop: In a dedicated corner of the room, you’ll find a curated selection of my signed photography prints and pre-packaged treats available for purchase. It’s a space to support my work as an artist and baker—perfect for gifts or taking a piece of the vibe home with you.
📍 Location & Vibe
We are located in Crown Heights (off Nostrand Ave A Train). My living room is a cozy, intimate space designed for connection and slow living.
Our session runs promptly from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM—the golden hour is best enjoyed together from the start!
Planning your day? We are just a few blocks away from a few neighborhood bars—I’m happy to give you my personal recommendations for a happy hour stroll after our coffee session!
This is a professional event and the contribution for this 2 hours experience is currently $45!

❛o❛ 74 Interested Join us to celebrate AQUABET, the first release of dear friend press, by dear friend founder and artist Anna Sergeeva.
There will be books, drinks, and an ambient harp performance by @555princesa in our backyard garden.
AQUABET dissects the alphabet as the original Artificial Intelligence, holding the letters responsible for environmental collapse, human violence, and systemic oppression. The book ends with a new beginning, a proposal for a post-alphabetic universal language termed the aquabet, hydroglyphic symbols of liberation for future generations to sculpt a world without hierarchy or hatred.
