The Canton-Madison (MS) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was chartered on December 6, 2002, following a vision inspired by Nissan North America’s investment in the Canton community. In the spring of 2002, a group of distinguished Madison County Kappa men, led by Dr. Reginald Rigsby, Hon. Arnel Bolden, Christopher Brown, and Michael Yant, worked with Southwestern Province leadership to establish a chapter dedicated to serving the growing Madison County area while preserving the strength and integrity of the neighboring Jackson (MS) Alumni Chapter.
After receiving unanimous approval from the Grand Board of Directors, the chapter was chartered with 18 accomplished members representing leadership in medicine, education, law, business, ministry, and public service. Since its founding, the Canton-Madison (MS) Alumni Chapter has remained committed to the ideals of Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor through impactful community service, youth mentorship, and leadership throughout Madison County and beyond.
