ᵔᴥᵔ 10 Interested Hello Brave Thing,
Sonic Salon is back - a music-making night hosted and produced by Sophie So, where one original song is created from scratch in a single session.
Each event brings together musicians, producers, writers, and curious minds to contribute ideas while Sophie shapes, builds, and produces the track live. You don’t need to come with anything prepared - just your voice, your ideas, and an open mind.
It’s part jam session, part creative experiment, part community builder. Come help us catch lightning in a bottle. <3

*◟* 2 Interested First edition of yotta-internet: newtech and ai cinema screening
The ontological status of the image has mutated from representation to volume and from meaning to cadence. This transformation coincides with our irreversible immersion in the internet, which has ceased to be a delimited space to become an impersonal atmosphere. This process is inscribed within a capitalism erected as a posthuman project, driven by technological singularity and by the mutation of political economy into a regime of flows increasingly elusive in their magnitude and speed.
In this scenario, the field of visual experimentation is reconfigured, forcing us to think critically about how creation adapts to the uption of a technological development that signals the transition toward a new stage beyond the Anthropocene.
The short films in this program inhabit that zone of transition as operative images intensified in their power of dispersion, where the visual circulates as part of the immanence of technocommercial development, dissolving the boundaries between aesthetic experience and the reiteration of singularity.

Learn moreBefore Santa makes his rounds, Brooklyn’s own event series JUKEWORK is serving up something special, our final show of the year. We’re closing out the season with sweat, bass, and pure heat straight from the dance floor. Expect jersey club, footwork, and jungle all night long as we bring together some of our favorite DJs to end the year right.
With interviews in Vogue and Dazed, DJ FREEDEM has long cemented themselves as a true New York icon and we're excited to have them headline the final JUKEWORK of the year. When they’re not tending to their plants, they’re crafting original tracks and edits that fuse jersey club, ballroom, and whatever else it takes to get your ass moving.
Chelita delivers a high energy set bound to make you dance for hours. Their style brings old school rave with new school club, influenced by Detroit Techno/Electro, Latin Freestyle, Tribal, Chicago House & Latin Hard House creating a nostalgic, yet electric atmosphere.
CYBEROMANCER is a NY-based electronic artist and DJ fusing Chicago Footwork and Juke influences with a futuristic edge. Their background digital patching shapes their glitchy, algorithmic sound, while their South Side roots fuel high-energy, bass-heavy rhythms.
BROWN LIQUAH brings infectious, high-energy juke and hip-hop to the floor, keeping the vibe fast, fun, and full of bounce. Their sets pulse with rhythms and club flair, turning every mix into pure movement.
