Dasein AI Film Festival Cinema at the Edge of Human and Machine Being What does it mean to exist in an era shaped by artificial intelligence? The Dasein AI Film Festival is a curated screening event focused on short films that engage with questions of consciousness, identity, memory, and human–machine relations through the use of AI. Inspired by the concept of Dasein the awareness of one’s presence and relationship to the world the festival presents works that examine how emerging technologies influence perception, authorship, and cinematic form. We highlight filmmakers who use cinema as a space for exploration rather than spectacle. Films that reflect on how images are made, how stories are shaped, and how meaning shifts when human and algorithmic processes intersect. The evening is structured as a shared viewing experience followed by conversation and connection among artists, jury members, and guests. Have a lamp base whose shade you've been itching to replace for ages? We can help! In this workshop, we will guide you through making your own custom lampshade using printed fabric. We will provide all the materials (PVC backing, lampshade rings, tape, and other supplies). ​We have 3 lampshade sizes in different shapes (drum/conical). Write to us if you are not sure about your lamp size. ​This workshop is designed for absolute beginners — no pleated lampshades and no sewing involved. ​If you just want to make a lampshade and don't have a lamp base, we have some affordable options that you can buy separately.
