Inspired by the phenomenon of bioluminescence—the natural ability of living organisms to emit light—the work explores themes of hidden life, inner energy, mystery, and transformation. Created from intricate hand-cut paper compositions that have been digitally animated and programmed into an interactive environment, BIOLUMINAL responds to the presence of its audience, unfolding like a living organism that breathes and evolves through movement. About the Artist Francisca Oyhanarte is a Miami-based multidisciplinary artist and Pranic Healer. She transforms inner visions into analogue and digital artworks through hand-cut paper, animation, immersive installations, and energetic practices. Her work spans murals, audiovisual performances, public art, and interactive experiences that explore the relationship between consciousness, nature, and technology.
