Every year, our family hosts a community dinner in San Francisco. It's a beautiful evening β good food, good people, and a chance to come together during the holiest month.
We'll pray together at Maghrib, break fast, and then eat.
My mom is cooking for everyone; and if you've had her food before, you already know. If you haven't, you're in for a treat!
Here's how it works: our family cooks, you show up, and together we send donations directly to families in Afghanistan who are living on less than $1 a day.
Last year we raised $5,226 together and helped 7 families. That's been the tradition for 8 years and you're part of it.

One real ask: last year 186 people RSVP'd and only about 100 showed up. We cooked for twice as many people as came. If you RSVP, please actually come! We plan everything around headcount.
