Chinatown Autumn Moon Festival

The 2026 SF Chinatown Autumn Moon Festival takes over Grant Avenue between California and Broadway on September 19-20, 11am to 5pm both days
Expect a full weekend of lion dancers, martial arts, K-pop dance contests, live music, a dumpling-eating contest, mooncakes, and around 200 arts and crafts and food booths lining the street
Heads up that this event gets very crowded, especially for the opening parade, so get there 15-20 minutes early if you want a good spot along the route (locals say the best viewing is near Grant and Jackson.)
It's all free, and it's one of the city's longest-running celebrations, dating back to right after the 1989 earthquake as a way to bring the neighborhood back to lifeRSVP Here

Expect 25+ food trucks curated by Off the Grid, think Senor Sisig, Johnny Doughnuts, Bombzies BBQ, and Bini's Kitchen, alongside a lineup spanning Filipino, Korean, Nepalese, Argentine, and Cajun flavors

Alongside the free drinks is also our featured line up of DJs who will be playing a mix of music such as EDM, House, Kpop, etc!
The theme for this event is art and creativity! Come meet and chat with others who have a passion for music, dance, painting, drawing, singing, pottery, etc!

🇮🇪 Have you ever been moved by the sound of real Irish music and just felt like dancing? There’s an exciting new Irish partner dancing event in San Francisco, combining welcoming lessons with the joy of dancing to live music.
📆 We meet on the second Sunday of every month. (For certain holidays, we move to the 1st or 3rd Sunday; check this page for details.)
🗣️ At 5:00pm (SHARP!), we begin with clear, supportive instruction designed to bring brand-new dancers comfortably onto the floor.
💃 At 6:00pm, once everyone is moving, we transition to dancing to live traditional Irish music played by a rotating cast of musicians who bring energy, lift, and variety to each evening.
🎻 Tonight’s live band will be The Harvest Homies!
This night is intentionally inclusive:
☘️ newcomers learning their first steps
☘️ experienced dancers enjoying the drive of live music
⏰ If you’ve never done Irish partner dance, make sure to arrive before 5pm so you don’t miss the start of the lesson. We squeeze a lot into an hour and nothing is taught after 6pm!
👯 Come on your own or with friends. No partner required – we’ll form groups on the floor.
🅿️ Parking is VERY difficult in this neighborhood. Please arrive 20-30 minutes early to find a space (seriously). We recommend you carpool or take public transit instead.

Berkeley Art Club: Halloween Market
