Girls Beginner Surf Meetup !

Hi everyone! I’m just a girl who lives in north beach looking for some more friends to surf with! ig: @graceclendenin
I’m new to organizing this and thought it be fun to have the surf equivalent of a run club. Let’s meet at Soul Grind in Pacifica at 9:30. Everyone welcome!
No experience required! If you’ve never surfed before I can give you tips and you can rent gear at the surf shop next to the coffee shop for ~$30!
Schedule:
- 9:30-10: meet at Soul Grind Coffee Roasters. Get coffee and chat!
- 9:30-9:50: If anyone needs to rent a surfboard or wetsuit, go next door to NorCal surf shop or Traveler surf shop. NorCal is cheaper but Traveler is better quality and women owned. Once you get your gear meet back outside Soul Grind with your stuff. At this point you can be wearing your wetsuit or put it on at the beach.
- 10:00: We’ll walk over from Soul Grind to the beach. I’m planning to set up camp near the creek.
- 10-10:15: I can give tips to anyone who needs it!
- 10:15-11: free surf! Then everyone leaves on their own time.RSVP Here
Golden Gate Walk Club - Marina Edition

Tired of having to wake up at the asscrack of dawn and go run just to make friends? Then Golden Gate Walk Club is for you! Come alone or with friends! 70% of people come solo!
We meet every other Sunday at 10:30 and walk roughly 2 miles starting and ending at Dynamo Donuts and Coffee in the Marina.
Anyone and everyone is welcome as long as you bring a friendly down to earth vibe! After the walk we can get some coffee and get to know each other.

Dane plays heartfelt alternative pop-rock, drawing inspiration from confessional lyricists like Lana Del Rey and sonic inspiration from bands like Mazzy Star.
Ronnie Blaze Band is an iconic San Francisco band. Following the end of the pandemic, Ronnie Blaze emerged onto the San Francisco Bay Area club and open mic circuit. Happily paying his dues in half empty dive bars and supper clubs as a sideman to Mike Dingle and his Third Thursday Band, he marinated in one of Rock and Roll’s most storied cities. These experiences have left him well seasoned and hungry to prove himself, which he does on his debut single named after that city by the bay: San Francisco.
This show is also commemorating Dane’s release of their first song- Between Me and The High.

Join me for a community 2.7-mile run/walk/bike benefiting Muttville Senior Dog Rescue! @muttvillesf
After the unexpected yet amazing amount of interest in this run, I’ve decided to keep things a little simpler and make it more of a community morning than a formal race. 💗
We’ll meet at Equator Coffees at the Golden Gate Bridge and make our way together to Equator Coffees at Fort Mason, where we’ll hang out, grab a coffee and a bite, and connect with one another afterward.
📍 START: Equator Coffees — Golden Gate Bridge
📍 FINISH: Equator Coffees — Fort Mason
🏃♀️ DISTANCE: 2.7 miles
🐕 Runners, walkers, bikers & pups welcome!
And then comes the fun part… an afternoon auction benefiting Muttville! 🐾

Make savory Chinese chive and egg pockets from scratch, from mixing the filling, to stuffing and pleating each pocket before baking until golden. Along the way, we’ll make a bright, crunchy Chinese-style quick pickle with cucumber and daikon to enjoy alongside our delicious pan-fried pockets.

Join us to help pick up trash in the neighborhood and for stoop coffee afterwards. All neighbors are welcome to join us for coffee at 10am, even if you are not able to help with the clean up. Also, no problem if you show up a little late- someone will be here to help you get started.
We’ll be meeting in the 700 block of 26th, closer to Cabrillo.
