McDaniel Farm is located in Duluth, GA and is a fantastic hidden trail in the McDaniel Farm Park. The route is well-maintained and follows spacious paths that wind alongside babbling creeks, picturesque meadows, and serene woods nestled in the heart of the city. We don't like a whole lot of elevation during the Summer months, so this trail is an easy and mostly flat 2.3 miles. The majority of the trail is pleasantly shaded and there are two dedicated dog parks, a playground for kids, and convenient amenities such as picnic tables and relaxing bench swings scattered throughout the area. (This is a National Park Service Trail so there is a $5 parking Fee) Hike Details: Parking: 3020 McDaniel Rd, Duluth, GA 30096 Trail Level - Easy Distance - 2.3 mi Trail Type - Loop Elevation - 213 ft What you will need for this hike: Comfortable, supportive hiking shoes/boots or sneakers.
