Bogotá is putting USD 167M into a 23-floor science, technology and innovation campus, opening in late 2028, with 11 floors under a free-trade-zone regime reserved for anchor companies. It already runs a pilot with Ecopetrol, Cisco and Fortinet and has 328 companies in its pipeline. On October 6, María del Pilar López-Uribe, Bogotá's Secretary of Economic Development, presents Campus 2600 to the Bay Area for the first time, over dinner, to a room of 24.
Who hosts: the Secretary of Economic Development of Bogotá, ProColombia, Campus 2600 and Silicon Valley Delegations.
Who is in the room: seed-to-Series A and cross-border funds, corporate innovation and CVC leaders, university innovation programs and operators with a Latin America track record. Approval is manual and the list is capped at 24 so every conversation counts.

• Corporates and CVCs: a public counterpart for Latin America expansion, free-trade-zone floors for anchor companies from 2028 and a live pilot structure (Ecopetrol, Cisco, Fortinet) you can join.
• Universities, accelerators and ecosystem builders: Bogotá graduates 42,000+ STEM students a year and the campus has open cooperation lines for talent exchange, research and programs. This dinner is where the founding group of allies starts.
