Open Decks is a creative & safe space where DJs can dance, mingle, and practice their sets live. We'll meet with old friends, make new ones and connect as a community of Bay Area FLINTA DJs and their supporters. NO COVER 🩷 ALL WELCOME 🩷 We want to uplift our FLINTA DJs behind the decks, but everyone is welcome to dance, support and vibe with us. Bring your friends! Want to play? Just turn up, check in with us and sign up. Slots are first come first served, and sign ups start when the doors open at 8pm. DJ slots are 20 minutes and all genres of music are accepted. Just come with a pair of headphones and a Rekordbox paired USB. Monarch has CDJ 3000s + DJM A9. New DJ nervous about using CDJs? We got you! We save the opening slot for a newer DJ, and have an experienced DJ on hand to support you. This slot is suitable for someone who is already confident with Rekordbox / Pioneer and just needs support transitioning to CDJs.
