Our September East Bay Permaculture Guild gathering is a community potluck, connection night, and open invitation to help shape what comes next.
Bring a dish if you can, please label allergens, and bring your own reusable plate/cup/utensils if possible. Weāll have backups. After dinner, weāll share announcements, needs, offers, upcoming events, and make room for conversation, project networking, and whatever topics emerge from the people in the room.
Weāre still shaping Septemberās program ā what do you want to learn, share, build, or discuss with this community? Reach out with an idea for a hands-on skillshare, a guest speaker, a project to workshop, a garden question, a local issue, or simply a conversation you want to convene.
Possible threads include:
Gardening, composting, seed saving, and edible landscaping
The Oakland Peace Center medicinal/edible garden
Disaster preparedness and neighborhood resilience
Food justice, land access, and alternative economies
Mutual aid and community resource-sharing
Governance, collaboration, and building a stronger Guild
All experience levels welcome. Weāre a grassroots, justice-oriented space centering racial equity, land back, and collective resilience. Kiddo-friendly.
