It's twilight time. And the small, winged things--like lovebugs and roaches and fireflies--have begun to stir and search for light. Will Then-Self find hers before she dies? Or will Now-Self find other ways to survive? Site Unseen Theatre Company presents Philana Imade Omorotionmwan's Fireflies, directed by Danika Jackson. Featuring: Anye Young as Shine 1/Glow 2 Brielle Blood as Glow 3 Candice Ayer as Shine 2/Glow 1 Jaylen Taylor as The Moon/Blue Sanaa Chambers as Now-Self Sadie Bennett as Then-Self Lighting is by Stevie Bleich, movement direction by Tucker Tab DeGregory, artwork by Harris Singer, and stage management is by Carla Burbano. Performances will be held September 18th, 19th and 20th at 7:30 PM! HOW TO GET TO THE SHOW: This performance of Fireflies will be located near the Quaker Cemetery in Prospect Park. The nearest entrance is right off of Center Drive. The closest Subway stop is 15 St-Prospect Park (F/G Trains). The exact coordinates are: 40.6585403, -73.9725328. Use these coordinates to navigate, you will see signage pointing you towards the show. NOTE: This site-specific production will take place outdoors in Prospect Park and, as such, seating is a bit unorthodox. While some seating will be available, it will be on a first come, first served basis and we encourage our audience members to bring their own picnic blankets, lawn chairs, etc.
