Dionysus Fall Gala: A Casino Royale

We are back with the long awaited Dionysus Fall Gala. Join us for a five-hour premium open bar, light bites, theatrical ballet & opera performances, casino games, unique activations, and a red carpet runway.
As always, it is strictly a black tie event. All tickets are full access. This active courthouse in lower Manhattan will feature casino tables across both floors for all attendees to play.

The Surrogate Courthouse is a National Historic Landmark. Since 1899, this active courthouse has been a symbol of the Beaux art style, an architectural movement that has its roots in French neoclassic tradition, and reverberated throughout the American Northeast in the 19th and 20th centuries.

A Brooklyn institution, The Annual Atlantic Antic™, produced by the Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation, is the oldest and largest street festival in Brooklyn and a joyful experience, looked forward to by residents of Brooklyn and beyond each year.
Strolling the avenue from Fourth to the Waterfront on a lovely fall day, is a celebration of ethnic tastings, fine arts and crafts from around the world, non-stop music and entertainment, and just pure fun. Swap, Don’t Shop!

Right after fashion week and right before NYC climate week, clear your closet of stuff you no longer wear and come swap clothes with your neighbors! Give someone a new favorite fall piece and maybe come find yours!
The rules are simple.
1) NO BUYING! Either swap or freely give away your clothes, accessories, bags, hats, shoes, jewelry, etc.
2) Only bring items you love or once loved that maybe don’t fit your body or your style anymore!! Please do not bring anything that you wouldn’t give to your bestie (no crazy stains, unrepairable tears, etc.)
3) Be nice!!!:) strike up a convo, ask someone if they’d want to look at your stuff for a trade. Respect if someone doesn’t want to trade! (And don’t take it personal if they don’t- everyone has different style!)
If you don’t end up trading away all your stuff you no longer want, we will take any clothes you want to donate and bring them to Big Reuse (an amazing environmental non-profit thrift warehouse in Gowanus and Bushwick).RSVP Here

Summer is ending, but the story is not over.
Stop1 returns to Honey's with two stages filled with local legends for a night of wonky house, leftfield techno, and warm inclusive vibes.
The Roof:
Rila and Iggy Nuclear open the roof with a mix of minimal house and techno, dubby textures, and expertly crafted blends. Music for the heads.
Techno Maestro S'aint Panic plays peak time on the roof spinning soulful house to mind-altering techno. A staple of queer nightlife in NYC, the only thing to expect is a masterclass in the unexpected.
Aria Pash is playing the roof weaving together techno, house, and acid, threading groove and texture through each beat. Look forward to a communal ecstatic experience that is equal parts playful and dark.
Kettle, founder of Stop1, closes out the roof, digging deep in his record bag for a mix of house, techno, soul, and disco. His sets lead the dancefloor into a state of grace and trance.
The Bar:
Miarisua, a Ukrainian-born, Brooklyn-based DJ, opens the bar in a hypnotic blend of psychedelic soundscapes, trance-driven beats, and groovy tech-house textures, interlaced with dynamic breakbeats.
Terra Magra and Akira, founders of Wife Inspection, go b2b. Look forward to a set of wonky house, techno, and sonic experiments. For divas only.
Nick Boyd, founder of the NYC label Sorry Records, pairs old-school house and techno sounds with a more new-school kitchen-sink mentality. He plays with reverence but without idolatry, paying homage to his favorite scenes without tying himself to them. Expect skill, energy, and a touch of sonic insanity.
On the vibe: Stop1 is open and welcoming. Whether it's your first dance music event or you're a regular at every club in the city, you belong here. That said: violence, non-consensual touching, and discriminatory language or behavior of any kind are not tolerated. No racism, no homophobia, no transphobia, no ableism.
Stickers will be placed on phone cameras as you enter. Meta glasses and other smart glasses may not be worn or brought into the party. If you bring them, you'll be asked to leave.
The dance floor is for dancing.
