Every second Friday, the street continues after dark.
The market transitions into an immersive experience at Chi Lounge through sound, garments, exchange, and gathering.
Hosted by Xchange Fashion, The People's Runway invites guests to arrive in customary robes, heirloom textiles, ceremonial garments, workwear, or contemporary interpretations of ancestral dress.
The evening features a robe collection from Chinatown Made and an open clothing swap with select vendors.
Garments carry memory.
Technique carries lineage.

DJ, producer and cultural conservationist. With sets that move between ancestral African rhythms and contemporary electronic sound... a mellifluous archive in motion. Rooted in the Luganda proverb "Kamu Kamu gwe muganda" ("One by one makes a bundle"), each mix is a chapter in an ongoing story of African identity. Founder of Decolonised Beats, AfroDusk and the African Identity Institute.

With her roots in the vibrant San Francisco house scene, Ly Pham transports the dancefloor on a soulful journey. Depending on the setting, she can seamlessly weave a tapestry of sound — moving from deep, melodic rhythms to the infectious grooves of Afro, Latin, and minimal, all the way to the raw energy of breakbeats and UK garage. Her sets are designed to awaken the senses, creating a visceral experience where people feel more connected to themselves and to each other.

Drawing inspiration from her upbringing in Toronto and years in Miami, New York and the Bay Area, MONĪ's sound spans Indo, Middle Eastern, Latin, Afro, Progressive and Disco House — bold, textured and uniquely hers. Her sets fuse global percussion with modern electronic structure, flowing from melodic uplift to full-body energetic grooves that naturally draw people to dance. Beyond the decks, MONĪ is the founder of a South Asian-focused entertainment company she has led for over a decade, curating events that fuse tradition with innovation, and a marketing firm specialising in strategic solutions across luxury service industries.

DJ and resident at Mersea, Treasure Island. Raised between Saudi Arabia and the USA, his sets draw from Arabic, Afro, Caribbean and Latin influences — a sound he calls Cultural House. Rooted in the textures of Mediterranean instruments and the quiet conviction that music dissolves borders before anyone notices.

Nevada City, USA
Producer, DJ and founder of Open House Records. His command of electronic music spans from Amapiano to Bass, Tech and Electro House — moving between deep groove and melodic ascent with precision and purpose. Entirely his own.

San Francisco · Philippines
JAO is a first-generation Filipino-American Artist/DJ born and raised in San Francisco. Inspired by the hard-hitting subwoofers in modified cars of the 90s and 00s, it is there he learned music is not only something you hear, but also feel. Influenced by the grittiness of hip hop and vigor of hard rock, JAO decorates time and space with the grooves of house and electronic music. While a cook and cameraman by trade, bringing people together (even for just a moment) has been the main driver behind his art and is now excited to do it with music.
