"Warped Inputs" is a high-voltage celebration of alternative controllers, physical play, experimental interfaces, and the beautifully weird side of games.
Hosted by Warped Worlds in collaboration with IndieCade and GDC, this outdoor showcase takes over Yerba Buena Gardens during conference week, featuring 10–12 hand-selected games and interactive experiences that push beyond the screen. If it’s strange, physical, social, community-driven, or joyfully unhinged — we want to play it.
We'll showcase:
- 🕹️ Alt.ctrl games
- ⛺️ Playable installations
- 🤖 Physical computing experiments
- 🦾 Whimsical contraptions
Interfaces that make people ask, “Wait… how do I play this?”
The event will also feature surrounding GDC festivites:
- 🎪 A large event tent in Yerba Buena Gardens
- 🍔 Food & drinks provided by Off The Grid
- 🎸 Live DJ programming by MAGFest
This is a celebration of indie creators, playful systems, and games that demand to be experienced in real life.
