Hosted by Open Future Forum Sponsored by Agentic Fabriq Short description How MCP is changing the way developers build integrations between agents, applications, APIs, and data sources. Full description Every application, API, and data source speaks a slightly different language. For developers building AI agents, connecting those systems has traditionally meant creating and maintaining a growing collection of custom integrations. MCP introduces a more universal approach. Join Open Future Forum during SF TechWeek for a developer-focused discussion about how the Model Context Protocol is changing the way agents discover, connect to, and use external capabilities. We’ll explore how MCP can create a consistent interface between agents and the systems around them—making integrations more portable, reusable, secure, and easier to operate. Topics will include: - MCP as a universal interface for agent integrations - Connecting agents to applications, APIs, tools, and data sources - MCP clients, servers, gateways, and integration hubs - Tool discovery, capability schemas, context, and actions - Authentication, permissions, credentials, and policy enforcement - Portability and interoperability across models and agent frameworks - Production considerations for reliability, observability, and scale This session is for AI engineers, platform teams, API builders, developer-tool leaders, technical founders, and anyone designing the connective infrastructure for AI agents. Come meet the builders working toward a world where every useful capability can connect to any agent. This event is a part of #SFTechWeek—a week of events hosted by VCs and startups to bring together the tech ecosystem. Learn more at www.tech-week.com.
