We're throwing a free watch party for 2024's Vietnamese Documentary "NEW WAVE" by Elizabeth Ai! Venue graciously provided at Hoi Polloi Brewing in Berkeley, CA. Programming and scheduling: 4PM until sold out: Viet food pop-up by 3BOTTLEDFISH Vinyl Beat Lounge supported by DJ Selector OSHI 5PM: Reading by local Viet author HAO TRAN 6PM: New Wave Screening PLEASE COME EARLY TO RESERVE YOUR SEATS! I strongly encourage attendance to be sometime before 4PM so that you can be settled before Hao Tran's reading. Comfortable seating is limited so come early and reserve a nice spot, hang out, and enjoy some locally crafted beers. FYI, the screening will start immediately at 6PM.
