AI entertainment is changing the relationship between audiences, creators, characters, and stories. The hardest questions aren't just technical. They're about what people want from the experience. What brings people back? When do they want to shape the story, and when do they want to be surprised? What sustains immersion—and what breaks it? Hosted by Scatter Lab, the AI entertainment company behind zeta. This event brings together consumer AI founders, product leaders, game and narrative designers, creators, researchers, and investors to explore what people actually want from AI-native entertainment. Drawing on what we've learned from building zeta, we'll discuss: • What users come to AI entertainment for: connection, roleplay, creativity, escape, and agency • What repeat engagement patterns reveal about the experiences people return to • When users want control and when they prefer authored direction • How creators fit into AI-generated characters, stories, and worlds • How safety and monetization choices affect immersion and trust The zeta team will open with product and user insights from building an AI fiction platform, followed by a candid cross-industry conversation and audience Q&A. We'll close with curated networking and drinks for the people building and backing the future of consumer AI, gaming, storytelling, and entertainment. **Format** • User and product insights from zeta • Cross-industry conversation • Audience Q&A • Curated networking and drinks This event is part of #SFTechWeek—a week of events hosted by VCs and startups to bring together the tech ecosystem.
