This month we’re reading Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse.
We read this one before, but I wanted to return to it now. After the weight of the last few books we’ve sat with together, this felt like the right moment to slow down.
Siddhartha is a book about the long, winding path toward peace. Reading it again, at this point in the year, feels intentional in a way I couldn’t ignore.
Flow for the afternoon:
∙ 4:00–4:30 — Arrival, getting settled, free flowing conversation
∙ 4:30–5:15 — Guided group discussion
∙ 5:15–6:00 — Open discussion, mingling, and free flowing conversation
The book club is and will always be free. We’re offering a pay what you can option for anyone who feels moved to contribute. Every donation goes directly toward building more intentional gatherings for this community.
We document these gatherings in photo and video. Some of it becomes content. Some of it becomes print. By attending, you’re okay with appearing in that work. If you’d rather stay out of frame, just tell us at the door.
