Join us for the opening of Glendalis, an exhibition by New York-based photographer Angela Cappetta. Photographed on the Lower East Side in the early 2000s, Glendalis traces the life of a youngest daughter and her multigenerational family through the streets, buildings, and apartments of the neighborhood. Drawing from family, memory, and Cappetta’s own experience growing up in New York, the work creates a “beatific family narrative” against the realities that surrounded and shaped her upbringing.
