In this 3 hour class targeting artists with no background in coding, students will learn how to build and host their own fully custom website online, for free. In addition to learning fundamental web development, we will also explore web development as a creative medium in and of itself. Instead of viewing websites as simply containers for art, portfolios, and personal shops, we will develop an understanding of how websites can be art projects on their own. By the end of the class, each student will have their own website setup and running, and have the tools to keep updating it on their own time.
