Hey Songwriters! In this month’s workshop, we’ll cover some music production basic tools with audio equalization (EQ) and compression. We’ll dive into pre-recorded song examples where CJ will demonstrate how each aspect of these tools can manipulate audio to shape a mix of synchronized audio recordings in digital audio workstations (DAW). We’ll also apply these tools to sound effects (SFX) in music and show how designing sound unique to a recording can bring a recorded track into a polished cohesive sound. No computer required! Live demonstrations are provided on a projector screens with speakers to hear audio changes All songwriters group events are hosted by Decentered Arts. Visit Decentered.org to learn more!
