Move over Sunday Scaries, the writers yearn for the Sunday Stanzas! Poets and prose writers: spend your Sunday afternoon mingling with other writers, learning different poetry-forward writing techniques, and writing generatively to themed prompts! Theme for May 17 is Form and Constraint! Riley will send inspo ahead of time if you provide your email. (Not homework! We'll read and discuss them at Third Realm regardless!) So bring your poetry, your songs, your especially lyrical notes app entries, to Third Realm in the Inner Sunset ft. Sunday Berries (aka fresh fruit and snacks from the Inner Sunset Farmers Market happening right outside just beforehand)! -- If you can't make it, don't worry; Sunday Sunset Writers Studio happens every Sunday at Third Realm, just in different fonts: - 1st Sundays - Sunday Sharies: live workshop, BYOW (bring your own writing) - 2nd Sundays - Sunday Stories: fiction-focused, split between a craft lesson with reading inspo, prompt-led writing time, and opportunity to share your just-written draft - 3rd Sundays - Sunday Stanzas: poetry-focused, split between a craft lesson with reading inspo, prompt-led writing time, and opportunity to share your just-written draft - 4th Sundays - Sunday Queries: roundtable conversation about sharing and promoting your writing (e.g., social media, self- vs traditional publishing, open mics, submitting to lit mags, etc.)
