The East Bay Permaculture Guild is partnering with the Oakland Peace Center for community garden work day on 7/25, this is preceding the memorial to Marcus Zamani and honoring his legacy. This is the foundation of a long-term edible + medicinal community garden project that will share fresh food with EBPG members, OPC neighbors, Wood St. Commons, and building organizations serving unhoused community members.
This month Grace from Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE) will be leading a disaster preparedness workshop! Learn how to pack a go bag, make a plan, and connect with neighbors to build resilience ahead of earthquakes, fires, storms, and everyday emergencies. Leave with preparedness items to start your kit — participants will also be entered into a raffle to win a Stealth Angel go-bag!
