Come be part of our Cake Community Party! — a joyful space where we come together to care, connect, and celebrate life… one slice of cake at a time. ❤️ Sweet Resistance - A welcoming and safe space for anyone seeking support, connection, and community—especially those trying to make sense of policies that harm democracy, science, environment, health, and our diverse communities. You matter. You belong here. This is an intentional gathering created by an amateur baker and a true cake lover. We warmly encourage you to bake something special to share with the group, or to bring a cake from a small bakery where items are made with care. To keep the spirit of the event, we kindly ask that you avoid bringing cakes from big grocery stores. Spirit of the Event: Kindness, generosity, belonging, solidarity. FREE event. ADULTS only. Bring a whole cake. CHIP IN: Your contribution will help with supplies and flowers. I'd love to hire live music for the event. Contribute what you can, more if you can more. Thank you in advance!
