We’ll have the power strips ready! ⚖️ 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗚𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡: Our signature interactive surprise from last year is back for a second round. ⚖️📺 📦 𝗠𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗜𝗗 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘: We are donating to 𝗡𝗖𝗝𝗪|𝗟𝗔 (The Council Shop) and 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘆’𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝗯 (LACF) to support our neighbors through resource redistribution. 📦 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐂𝐉𝐖 | 𝐋𝐀 (𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞): Gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, and jewelry. Profits from these items are reinvested into programs building financial resilience for women in LA. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐀 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐲’𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐇𝐮𝗯 (𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐤): 𝐇𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐞: Socks (new), masks, period products, and toiletries. 𝐃𝐫𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬: Rice, pasta, canned beans, and shelf-stable snacks. 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡: Bottled water, Gatorade, and washed produce. ❌ 𝐍𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐭, 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐥. ❓ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗱 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝘄𝘀? 𝗕𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗱 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝘄𝘀 is a recurring community series designed as a vital third space for Black developers and nerds to log off and connect in Los Angeles. It is a casual mixer where we combat industry burnout through togetherness and play. ❓ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗶𝗚 𝗟𝗔? 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗟𝗔 is the local chapter of the 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗜𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗕𝗜𝗚) 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. We formalize support for local talent through industry-informed education, mentorship, and business support for local Black developers. 🌐 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 The 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗜𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 is a 𝟓𝟎𝟏(𝐜)(𝟑) non-profit that exists to build a more equitable, connected, and empowered global gaming ecosystem. By centering authentic narratives and advocating for systemic change, the Foundation turns access into opportunity and opportunity into lasting impact.
