music @ 7 $ 10/15 suggested donation BYOB There will be food :) DONALD BEAMAN BILL BAIRD DEAD NETTLE Northern California songwriter Donald Beaman has released five albums since 2015, performing solo and with a backing band alongside artists including Jonathan Richman, Sharon Van Etten, Mdou Moctar, and Marisa Anderson. He was previously a member of NYC band The Double in the early to mid 2000’s, releasing three albums, including Loose In the Air for Matador Records, and touring with Feist, Interpol, M83, The Black Keys, and more. His fifth album Fog On Mirror Glass was released on Royal Oakie Records in 2024. Unfurling with a measured pace, the album combines elegiac lyrics with minimalist folk arrangements that MOJO called “the dictionary of less is more”. Music @ 7:00 San Antonio songwriter Bill Baird has spent decades making adventurous independent music inspired by artists like Arthur Russell, Daniel Johnston, and Roky Erickson. His projects have included Sound Team, signed to Capitol and Parlophone, and numerous solo releases on labels including Dangerbird and Moon Glyph. He has recorded at Abbey Road, produced records for Generationals and Garrett T Capps, and is currently working on a new album. Dead nettle is the indie-folk/rock project of California-based singer-songwriter Lindsey Wall. Blending introspective, metaphorical lyrics with a gritty, nostalgic, and often atmospheric sound, she explores the complexities of the human experience.
