Come join us for a pre-recording concert of Mario Wellmann’s debut album, Ecos del Sur at Terraza 7 in Queens! About the album: Ecos del Sur ("Echoes of the South") is Mario’s debut album as a bandleader, featuring brand-new original music inspired by the landscapes and memories of Chile’s central south. Rooted in jazz and shaped by South American rhythms, these compositions blend rich melodies and modern harmonies—and you'll be among the very first people to hear them performed. Terraza 7 has been a home for immigrant and diasporic music in Queens for two decades. It is a community-oriented bar and venue that’s always doubled as a gathering place for the neighborhood. Tickets are available at the door and cost about 20 dollars! We will update with a link once the concert is published. There are two sets of different music, one at 7:30 and one at 9:30 — come to either or both! We’ll have a celebratory drink afterwards/ between sets with the band.
