It's a clear night for looking up. We're taking Loess off the trail and up to the sky for an evening of stargazing in the city.
Loess is about getting more women outdoors, and building the sisterhood that makes it feel less scary and way more fun. So we're heading uptown to Carl Schurz Park, where the Amateur Astronomers Association sets up telescopes for free public viewing, no experience required!
We'll meet on the esplanade (John Finley Walk), with views of the East River, Roosevelt Island, and the skyline beyond. Enter at E 87th Street if you'd rather skip the stairs at 86th.
This is a women-centered gathering, and allies are welcome. See you under the stars!
