After a number of working group meetings and unConference sessions, we have realized that there is a lot of interest in our community around exploring alternatives to the single family home+30 yr Mortgage model of housing and property ownership.
Some topics we will be covering in this group include:
*exploring co-living and ownership models
*Visioning the community/eco-village we want
*ins and Outs of a real estate transaction
*traditional and alternative real estate financing
*City ordinances, zoning and land use
*Property Case Studies
About your facilitators:
Phil - In addition to being a lead organizer with EBPG, Phil has been a Bay area real estate agent for the last 4 years. He hopes to bring industry insight to this conversation and access to information that is not accessible to non Real Estate Professionals.
Pete - Pete has facilitated a number of Bay area co-housing interest groups over the last few years and is excited to explore this conversation from a permaculture perspective.
✨ What to expect:
★ Community announcements — needs, offers, events, and invitations
★ Project networking — connect with others doing permaculture work across the East Bay
