We will have 30+ vendors selling prints, stickers, keychains, plushies, clay goods, stationery, apparel, and other goods they created!
First 100 RSVPs to show up to the Event will get a free sticker. At the door you will recieve a Raffle ticket which enters you into the raffle event that occurs at 4:30pm.
Kids under 15 & Students are Free!
*We ask college students to show their School ID please!*
If you would like to pay the $3 entry at the door, please still RSVP, as it mainly helps us have a head count and prepares us for crowd control.

At this symposium, we will explore how communities in New York City can reimagine governance at the municipal level—from tenant unions and mutual aid, to participatory budgeting and neighborhood assemblies—and examine what role legal advocates can play in building and sustaining community power.
In the wake of Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s historic victory, we hope to build on the years of mutual aid, tenant organizing, and popular mobilization in response to deepening inequality and state inaction that made this moment possible. As such, we have dedicated our symposium to collectively imagining a world in which cities serve as sites of shared governance, material security, and democratic participation.
Join us as we gather scholars, activists, and attorneys at the forefront of this discussion, and share your own voice as we chart a new path forward for NYC!

Spring is on the way, and on April 18 the city will be right at peak bloom. Join us for a spring walk through some of the season’s best flowers. We’ll start at the West Side Community Garden on 89th Street, where the tulip festival should be in full swing, then make our way through Central Park to catch some of the park’s most beautiful cherry blossom spots.
📍 Meetup: West Side Community Garden (89th Street entrance) at 3 PM. We’ll gather here for 30 minutes before starting the walk.
We’ll pass through several scenic spring spots along the way:
• West Side Community Garden (89th Street): Tulips and early spring blooms.
• Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir: Walk along the water with views of cherry trees in bloom.
• Great Lawn: A big open space to enjoy the sun and views of the blossoming trees.
• Cedar Hill: A quieter, peaceful spot surrounded by nature.
• Pilgrim Hill: Great vantage point for cherry blossoms near the hilltop.
• Cherry Hill & Bow Bridge: One of the park’s most iconic cherry blossom views and a perfect photo spot.
• Bethesda Terrace: Grand stone terrace overlooking the fountain, surrounded by spring trees and one of Central Park’s most iconic gathering spots.
Walk: ~2–2.5 hours at a relaxed pace, depending on how much time we spend enjoying the scenery and taking photos.

• Wear comfortable shoes and dress for spring weather.

While consumed by their day jobs, both knew their creative acumen and upbringing in hands-on, nature focused Fuzhounese households would amount to some physical manifestation of their personal expression.
Off the heels of a 6 year friendship and in the spirit of the new year/new hobbies, we present the second installment of Ganda Gardens + GΛV workshops!
Ina, founder of Ganda Gardens (@gandagardensnyc) , is a florist focused on sustainable sculptural design, honing in her Filipino and Chinese background to inform her practice of floral design as a vehicle for story telling.
Gavin is a ceramicist who specializes in wheelthrowing. His work, signed off as GΛV, is recognized by its organic and ergonomic forms.
Join us for an intro to floral mechanics and arrangement design with hand thrown vases made by GΛV and we encourage you to have some dumplings from our amazing hosts, Formosa (the chicken with Napa cabbage is my favorite)!
Participants will go home with their arrangement in hand thrown vases as well as the floral shears they used.

Our swappy senses are tingling, the bag of clothing to donate in the corner of your room must be starting to fill up!
You only need to bring yourself, but you're encouraged to bring some clothes in good condition that you’d love to see enjoyed by someone else. It's not a 1-1 swap, and no one will be turned away for lack of clothes.
It helps us if we get some stuff early! Feel free to co-ordinate with Anne or Roan to drop your stuff off before swap day. You can also drop off your clothes day of starting at 10am, go eat some brunch, and come back at noon with a full belly + lots of energy to swap!
