Join a community fundraiser fighting food insecurity! - Take home a handmade bowl, enjoy a hearty meal & strengthen our food system🫂 - Drop in anytime that afternoon - as long or short as you like! - Tickets: $35-55: Include a handmade pottery bowl & a soup meal - Enjoy homemade soups, toppings, bread, wine & a silent auction in a beautiful garden. All proceeds benefit: Mandela Partners (championing food security in Oakland) & Líderes Campesinas (Latina-led org supporting CA farmworkers) I'm thrilled to raise money for orgs doing incredible work needed now more than ever - especially w/ ICE raids & heightened food insecurity, even in our own East Bay neighborhoods. This event combines my love of wheel-thrown pottery & seasonal soup-making! I've spent months sourcing 100 bowls from East Bay artists & hope to find a home for each one. ~ Let these bowls be a reminder not only of the many folks facing hunger, but also of the power to create abundance, resilience & strength through community. ~ Invite your crush, invite your mom, invite your colleague! ~ Let's gather to share soup, ceramics, and solidarity in these challenging times. 💛
