How do I invite guests to my event?
Hit the “Invite” button, which lets you invite any of your Past Guests and Mutuals (people who you’ve been to other Partiful events with) directly through Partiful.  

You can also hit the "Copy Link" button to share your event link on any platform: text, Instagram, Snapchat, Slack, WhatsApp, Messenger, email, and more. You can share it individually or in group DMs.

Guests RSVP with their phone number, so you'll be able to text blast updates and reminders directly to their phones.
How can guests change their RSVP?
After someone RSVPs, we text them a link that they can use to change their RSVP.

They can also RSVP again using the original link you shared with them and the same phone number, and it will replace their previous RSVP.

Guests currently can't change their RSVP for Guest Approval ("Get on the list") events.
What are guest phone numbers used for?
1. To make it easy for guests to RSVP and see event details by logging into Partiful with their phone number

2. To send automatic text reminders for your event (you can turn these off if you want)

3. To allow you to easily communicate with guests by text blasting updates and reminders

4. To send events that you or their Mutuals invite them to

We will never sell your or your guest’s data.
How do I ask questions to my guests?
In settings, enable Guest Questionnaire to collect information from your attendees. You can view the answers by tapping “View Responses” on the Guest Questionnaire settings, or download by tapping “Export CSV” on the Guest List.
What information can I see about my guests?
You are able to see the names of the guests who have RSVP’d to your event, as well as their RSVP status! You will not be able to see the guest’s phone numbers, per our Privacy Policy. 
Can I download the names of my guests?
Yes, to download a CSV file of your guest list, go to your Guest List and tap “EXPORT CSV” in the top right corner. You can then choose which type(s) of RSVP you'd like to export.

However, user’s names in Partiful are often only first names. If you need full names for your event, make sure to ask guests to provide full names in the Guest Questionnaire!
Can I track who I've invited?
You can track anyone you’ve invited through the platform, who will have a status “Invited” in the guest list. You won’t be able to see who you’ve sent the link to on other platforms (e.g. text), until they've RSVP'd.
Can I limit who gets on my guest list?
Yes! You can enable “Require Guest Approval” in settings to prompt guests to apply for your guest list. When managing guests, you’ll be able to set a guest’s status as Approved, Pending, or Remove.
How can I allow guests to see the location without having to RSVP first?
You can add the location to the event description, which is visible prior to RSVP.
How do I remove a guest?
Find the guest on the guest list, tap on their status, and update it to “Remove”. This will remove them from the event and they will not be notified.
If I remove some from my guest list, will they be notified and will they still be able to see the event and details?
If you remove someone from your guest list, they will not be notified. They won’t be able to see event details like location and who else is going. They would still be able to see everything that’s visible to non-RSVP’ed guests, such as event title, image, and description. If you’d like to prevent them from seeing these details, you can add a password to your event page (be sure to text blast existing guests so they know the password).
Do you send automatic event reminders?
Yes! For guests who RSVP "Going", we text reminders the day before the event and 2 hours before the event.If someone RSVPs "Maybe," we'll remind them to finalize their RSVP leading up to the event — 2 weeks before, 1 week before, and 1 day before the event.

You can toggle reminders on/off by going to your event page, tapping "Edit Invite," then going to "Settings":
Can I send my own reminders?
Yes! Hit "Text Blast" → "New Message" to send a text to groups of guests. You can also send a photo along with your message.
How do I collect money from guests?
1. Set a cost per person for the event and enter your Venmo or Cash App handle.

2. When guests RSVP, they'll be linked to Venmo/Cash App to complete the payment.

3. Once they return to Partiful we'll ask them to explicitly confirm that they've paid.
What can I use this feature for?
Collect money for group reservations, dinners, trips, happy hours, venues, party buses, and more! Not sure if it will work for your use case? DM or email us.
Do you independently verify that guests have paid the correct amount?
We can't verify that guests have paid since the money is not transacted through our platform but through Venmo/Cash App. We do ask guests to explicitly confirm that they've paid you.

This feature is designed to help you collect money from people you personally know and trust using tools you already use like Venmo and Cash App. If you're looking for a full-fledged ticketing solution, DM or [email](mailto:hello@getpartiful.com?subject=Ticketing) us and let us know.
What happens if I change the payment details (amount, platform, Venmo handle / Cashtag, etc.) after I start sending out invites?
Guests who haven't RSVP'ed yet will see the most recent payment details you've entered.For guests who have already RSVP'ed and paid with previous payment details, you'll have to settle any differences manually.
Do you handle refunds?
No, we do not handle refunds. If you have a guest who paid but can't go, you'll have to send the money back to them directly.

Do you ever spam my guests?
Definitely not. We only use guests' numbers to send the notifications mentioned here and here.‍ We will never send marketing texts or anything unrelated to your event.
